Crunchy Cranberry-Cinnamon Snack
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups Corn Chex cereal
1 1/2 cups Rice Chex cereal
1 1/2 cups Wheat Chex cereal
1/2 cup dried cranberries, dried cherries or raisins
In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
In a large microwavable bowl, microwave butter, uncovered, on high for about 40 seconds, or until melted. Stir in cereals until evenly coated.
Microwave for 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute.
Sprinkle half of the sugar mixture evenly over the cereal and stir. Sprinkle with the remaining sugar mixture and stir. Microwave for 1 minute.
Stir in cranberries.
Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in an airtight container. Makes 8 servings.
