BLACK MILDEW-AFFECTED SURFACES REMEDIES
Description
A type of mould which forms on surfaces as small black patches or dots.
Causes
• Lack of ventilation
• Dampness
• Humidity (steam).
Remedies
Wash and scrub the affected area thoroughly with a
strong detergent and disinfectant, followed by plenty of rinsing and drying off. If the condition persists, use a fungicidal wash and redecorate with fungicidal paint. It also helps to increase the amount of ventilation.

Use a plastic scouring pad with detergent on persistent areas.
